The next hardfork of the Ethereum network will take place very soon, which will activate the London update.

The planned date for the transition is the 4th of August 2021, around 1 PM (CEST).

In order to ensure the smooth running of the hardfork, all Ethereum and ERC20 transfers will be shut down on the 4th of August at 10 AM and are expected to be back online after 8 PM that evening.

The London hardfork will launch a completely new transaction format to the Ethereum network which we are prepared for to the best of our ability, although we want to avoid the possibility of other providers’ unpreparedness causing our clients’ assets to be lost due to a withdrawal being initiated too soon.

*IMPORTANT: In case the Ethereum network suffers any major outages or failures following the hardfork, it is expected that maintenance will be extended!

Deposits and withdrawal requests received during the maintenance period are predicted to be processed after 8 PM that evening.

The BSC network will not be affected by the maintenance, so you can still deposit Ether and ERC20 tokens to the INLOCK platform during this period!

The maintenance also does not affect Bitcoin, Litecoin, and BNB (BEP2) deposits and withdrawals, so if you absolutely need to withdraw during the maintenance, you can swap Ether and ERC20 tokens and withdraw them.

This upgrade follows Berlin, which was activated only a few months ago on the Ethereum mainnet.
