If you hold ILK tokens on the Inlock platform and would like to transfer them to your own self-custody wallet, there are a few simple steps you need to complete. This guide covers the entire process, from adding the ILK token to your Ethereum wallet through withdrawing your tokens from Inlock and registering your wallet address on the Vigiler platform.

Before You Start

ILK is an ERC-20 token operating on the Ethereum network. To receive and manage ILK tokens, you need an Ethereum-compatible wallet that supports custom ERC-20 tokens.

Popular supported wallets include:

  • Trust Wallet (Mobil application on iOS or Android, also available in Brave browser)
  • MetaMask
  • MyEtherWallet (MEW)
  • Phantom Wallet (Ethereum account)
  • Rabby Wallet
  • Coinbase Wallet
  • Safe (formerly Gnosis Safe)

Before proceeding, make sure you have access to your wallet and that you can receive assets on the Ethereum network.

Step 1: Add the ILK Token to Your Wallet

Since ILK may not appear by default in your wallet’s token list, you may need to import it manually using the token contract address:

Trust Wallet

  1. Open Trust Wallet.
  2. Select Manage Crypto.
  3. Choose Didn’t see your crypto? Import.
  4. Enter the ILK contract address above.
  5. Confirm by pressing Import.
  6. The ILK token will appear in your wallet.
  7. Open the ILK token and select Receive to display your Ethereum receiving address.

MetaMask

  1. Open MetaMask.
  2. Select the Ethereum network.
  3. Scroll down and click Import Tokens.
  4. Paste the ILK contract address.
  5. MetaMask should automatically detect the token information.
  6. Click Add Custom Token, then Import Tokens.
  7. Your Ethereum account address shown at the top of MetaMask will be your receiving address.

MyEtherWallet (MEW)

  1. Log in to MyEtherWallet.
  2. Access your Ethereum account.
  3. Navigate to Tokens.
  4. Select Add Custom Token.
  5. Enter the ILK contract address.
  6. Save the token configuration.
  7. Use your Ethereum account address as the receiving address.

Phantom Wallet

  1. Open Phantom.
  2. Switch to your Ethereum account.
  3. Select Manage Token List or Import Token.
  4. Enter the ILK contract address.
  5. Confirm the import.
  6. Use your Ethereum account address as the receiving address.

Other Ethereum Wallets

Most Ethereum-compatible wallets provide a similar Import Token, Custom Token, or Add Asset function. If ILK is not automatically visible, import it using the contract address listed above.

Once you have imported ILK, copy your Ethereum receiving address. You will need it in the next steps.

Step 2: Register Your Withdrawal Address on Inlock

For security reasons, withdrawals from Inlock can only be sent to pre-approved withdrawal addresses.

To register your wallet:

  1. Log in to the Inlock platform.
  2. Open the Settings menu.
  3. Scroll to the Fund Management section.
  4. Locate Withdrawal Addresses.
  5. Click Add New Withdrawal Address.
  6. Enter the following information:
    • Currency: ILK
    • Network: Ethereum
    • Network Address: Your wallet’s Ethereum receiving address
  7. Enter your Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) code.
  8. Click Add to Address Book.

Your withdrawal address will now be registered.

Security Hold Period

To protect customer funds, newly added withdrawal addresses become active after a 24-hour security waiting period.

During this period, withdrawals to the newly added address are not permitted.

Step 3: Withdraw ILK from Inlock

Once the withdrawal address becomes active:

  1. Navigate to the Wallet page.
  2. Locate your ILK balance.
  3. Click the Withdraw icon.
  4. Enter the amount of ILK you wish to withdraw.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Under Select Recipient, choose the previously approved withdrawal address.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Enter your 2FA code.
  9. Click Submit.

The withdrawal request will be processed and the ILK tokens will be sent to your wallet on the Ethereum network.
